Your Safety Is Our Top Priority

While many things have changed in recent years, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to your safety. Infection control has always been a top priority at West Park Dental, and we want you to feel confident and comfortable every time you visit.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We continuously monitor guidance from these agencies to ensure our procedures are current and effective.

Advanced Personal Protective Equipment

For the health and safety of everyone who enters our office, our team is fully equipped with face shields, gowns, protective gloves, masks, and additional PPE as needed. Our staff has received advanced training on the correct implementation of these protective measures to ensure your safety at every appointment.

We have integrated new technology to stay ahead of the curve, including contactless temperature screening and pulse oximetry to measure oxygen saturation in the blood. These extra measures provide peace of mind for both our patients and our team.

What to Expect During Your Visit

You may notice some changes when you arrive for your appointment. We have implemented these protocols to help protect our patients and staff:

  • Pre-visit screening – Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask screening questions. You will be asked those same questions again when you arrive, and we will take your temperature to ensure nothing has changed.

  • Mask requirement – Please wear a mask before entering the office.

  • Limited companions – We ask that you limit extra companions to only essential people in order to reduce the number of individuals in the waiting room.

  • Hand sanitizer stations – We will ask you to use hand sanitizer when you enter the office. You will also find stations in the reception area and throughout the office for your convenience.

  • Simplified waiting area – Our waiting room no longer offers magazines, children's toys, and similar items, as these are difficult to clean and disinfect properly.

  • Managed scheduling – Appointments are scheduled to allow for social distancing between patients. We do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times and the number of people in the reception area at any one time. Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.

Our Commitment to You

We look forward to seeing you and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty.
